"National Treasure" 2000-level offline immersive experience "Oriental Wisdom" National Treasure Digital Experience Exhibition was exhibited in Jinan "National Treasure" Digital Magic Experience Hall. This exhibition was organized by CCTV Records, Jinan Overseas Chinese Town, Junkan Culture, and CCTV "National Treasure" The visual team co-created with a collective ART+TECH.
The entire exhibition includes four parts: Immersion Experience Field, National Treasure Box, National Treasure Courtyard and National Treasure Cultural and Creative. Starting from multiple dimensions such as presentation form and historical background, 9 national treasures from "National Treasure" are selected to be digitally interpreted and interesting. Sexual interactive experience, constructing multiple experience levels such as aesthetic perception, informed learning, entertainment interaction, etc. Combined with various forms such as installation, video, sound, etc., to construct a mixed field of virtual and reality, conveying national treasures in a multi-sensory way "Oriental wisdom and beauty" contained in it.
The "beauty" of the national treasure conveys the perceptual visual experience and aesthetic conception; the "wisdom" of the national treasure describes the ancient wisdom and spiritual core of the intellect. "Wisdom" and "beauty" coexist in national treasures, mirror each other, and together constitute the life and soul of a national treasure and even a civilization.
The once-popular phenomenon-level IP "National Treasure" made the "National Treasure", the icy existence that used to lie in the glass cabinet of the museum, be injected with temperature at once, releasing thousands of years of historical memory, and even a bit cute and friendly. What would it be like if we could go back to the times when these treasures lived and be in the midst of their living stories?
"Jiangshan Xinyu" immersion space
At the beginning of the exhibition, the audience will immediately fall into the digital world of "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains".
The immersive video of "Jiangshan Xinyu" is a cross-time and space artistic dialogue with "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains", and it is also a digital contemporary translation of this masterpiece, conveying the Chinese contained in "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" with a grand and shocking visual narrative Traditional aesthetics and cosmology.
From interpreting the complex drawing process of the original paintings, to creating an immersive experience of traveling in the world in the paintings, to extracting the aesthetic elements in the paintings and abstractly interpreting the mysteries of color and light and shadow. With the gradual change of video content, the work has formed a multi-dimensional interpretation of "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" from a macro perspective to an immersive perspective, and then to a micro perspective.
The spatial language constructed with "box" originates from the media architecture of classical gardens
Stepping into the "Jiangshan Xinyu" immersion field, the audience will realize that it is not a regular square space that wraps itself, but is surrounded by the sides of many huge boxes.
"National Treasure Box" is an important visual element in the "National Treasure" column, and a digital container for the appearance of each national treasure. SODA Architects, who designed the exhibition space, continued this element into the space construction of the exhibition.
In the layout of the boxes, the design wisdom of Chinese classical gardens is introduced, and 8 "national treasure boxes" are designed to overlap each other organically.
The outside of the box forms an immersive space, which abstractly interprets the aesthetic conception and cosmic wisdom contained in "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" with a magnificent visual narrative; inside each box, a customized digital interpretation method is used, combining installations, images, sounds and other various The form builds a sense of scene where reality and reality coexist, showing the unique aesthetic characteristics and cultural legends of the other 8 national treasures.
In the "National Treasure Courtyard", inspired by the scenic windows in Chinese classical gardens, through the "media architecture" formed by the digital landscape, two perception methods of "looking in" and "looking out" are created. The "looking out" perspective makes people feel like they are in the garden landscape and observe nature from the inside of the building. As for the perspective of "looking inward", through the construction of deconstructed view windows with different shapes, people can get a unique experience of looking into the pavilions and pavilions as if they are in the garden corridor.
From outside the box, inside the box, and then between the boxes, the landscape inside and outside the box overlaps and dialogues here, and at the same time, the space itself is extended to the outside, creating a sense of winding paths in the garden.
Eight boxes, eight treasures
In addition to "A Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains", we have selected 8 treasures to hide in 8 national treasure boxes from the multiple dimensions of form and content, including calligraphy and painting, sculpture, utensils, costumes and other rich and diverse presentation forms; also cover calligraphy, painting , literature, music, food, astronomy, religion, traditional crafts and many other cultural fields.
National Treasure Box 1: "Porcelain Clothes"
The 17 kinds of high and low temperature glazes in one large vase with various glazes from the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty are the pinnacle of ancient Chinese superb porcelain-making craftsmanship. In this exhibition, the actual installation of the glazed vase is enlarged and placed in the center of the space, and four giant ancient windows stand on both sides.
The audience can experience the complex and interesting glazing process through the interactive game on the interactive table, the changes of the glaze color and the firing process, which are then presented in the bottle body and the pane. The digital images and physical installations coexist with the virtual and the real, interpreting the "skill" and "beauty" of the glazes in the past dynasties of China.
National Treasure Box 2: "Cup and Cup"
Warring States copper tableware
Since ancient times, the development of Chinese civilization can be said to go hand in hand with "food". "Food" is not only about what to eat, but also how to eat. We tried to project the indispensable "food culture" in Chinese civilization into the abstract interpretation of the bronze tableware of the Warring States Period.
The long table that winds forward in the form of "curved water flowing" runs through the entire space. Dozens of copper tableware arranged in random on the table "float" on the long river of history. From the source of food, cooking, to the use of tableware and banquet etiquette and other Chinese food civilization, at the same time, through the freehand brushwork of the star river flowing on the tableware and the rust and flowers on the tableware, it conveys the "food culture" behind the national treasures that has undergone five thousand years of evolution in China.
Another ingenious feature of the Warring States copper tableware is that 62 pieces of large and small tableware can be tightly juxtaposed together, so that they can fit into the copper pot shell and become a set of portable tableware. So we designed an interactive installation where the audience can try to assemble the copper meal by themselves.

National Treasure Box 3: "Totem Code"
△ Human head-shaped painted pottery vase
As the earliest representative of painted pottery in China, the painted pottery vase with a human head-shaped mouth was born 8,000 years ago. Its unique decoration is infused with the observation and perception of beauty in human childhood.
In the exhibition hall, the animation images covering the walls and the ground take the audience back to ancient times in a freehand manner. Painted pottery vases of different sizes and shapes are scattered among them, which are "irrationally" enlarged, showing a sense of form and transcendence beyond common sense.
Birds, fish, water and other natural elements in the surrounding environment gradually flow and transform into bottle body decorations, full of rhythm of "don't know where to start, don't know where to stop", and the audience can fully perceive human beings in the "eye-swimming" overlook. Ancient wisdom and aesthetic interest of Dadiwan ancestors.
△ "Five Stars Out of the East to Benefit China" Brocade Armguard
"Five stars come out of the East to benefit China" brocade arm guard, its weaving process is the representative of the highest technology of Han-style brocade, and the patterns and words of the brocade also contain the cosmic wisdom of the ancients due to the benefit of the heavens. The giant loom device standing on one side of the space is combined with the pouring brocade dynamic image to present the beauty of brocade craftsmanship with a shocking visual experience.
The overwhelming galaxy wraps the entire space, and the five stars in the sky gather, making people feel like they are in the center of the universe. The twenty-eight constellations that change in real time with the footsteps of the audience create a mysterious and dreamy feeling of walking in the universe.
National Treasure Box 5: "Shan Lin Yi Shi"
△ Bamboo Forest Seven Sages and Rong Qiqi Brick Painting
The brick paintings of the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest and Rong Qiqi, made up of more than 300 ancient tomb bricks, were re-engraved in the exhibition venue in the form of a three-dimensional puzzle installation. Let the eight Magi be infused with life.
The virtual and real linkage between the installation and the image guides the audience to intuitively experience the structural form and production process of the brick painting in their own participation, and at the same time more vividly convey the distinctive and different character characteristics and the reclusive and lofty personality of each sage.
National Treasure Box 6: "The Legacy of the Tang Dynasty"
We tried to build a spatial interactive ensemble game. The audience triggers the corresponding melody through different instrument sensing points on the ground, so that multiple people can interactively ensemble a complete piece of music. At the same time, the embossed figures on the wall are illuminated and activated in the form of images, and the scene picture has gradually completed the transition and evolution from the prosperous Tang court to the folk market, conveying its exquisite craftsmanship and the elegy of the troubled times sung behind the singing and dancing, which is also the audience. The ensemble and resonance across time and space with the female musicians in the painting.
The musical instruments in the relief sculpture are arranged on both sides of the space in the form of light and shadow installations, as if looming from the dust and fog of history, realizing the abstract interpretation of the beauty of music in a contemporary artistic language.
National Treasure Box Seven: "Jade Festival"
△ Liangzhu Jade Cong
Jade Cong is a ritual vessel used by Liangzhu ancestors to sacrifice to the vast land. We designed the entire exhibition hall as a structure with an inner circle and an outer square, turning it into a huge jade cong. When the audience enters the space, it is like entering a jade cong.
At the same time, the animation images deduced at the corresponding positions on the desktop of the long case restore the situation and trivial matters of life in the letter, convey the daily life and fresh humanity of the ancients behind the seemingly solemn and solemn calligraphy works, and narrow the distance between the past and the present by digital means , to create a more intimate experience for the audience to the national treasure.
Today, when traditional cultural aesthetic education is increasingly valued, the value of aesthetic education is not limited to the shock and awe of beauty itself, but also lies in the hidden wisdom of civilization behind it. It is hoped that the "Oriental Wisdom Beauty" National Treasure Digital Experience Exhibition will enable people to gain the true aesthetic education behind the national treasure in the interactive experience of education and entertainment.
