1-10V dimmer art and aesthetics show

Machinery, light and shadow, sound, check out these new media art works!

The ARRC 2.0 installation is dedicated to artistic evolution and revolution within a person. It consists of four separate areas. Visitors can experience various emotional states through these areas, thereby becoming aware and accepting of changes within themselves. Visitors will have the opportunity to choose an installation that is close to their personality or mood to wander through its interior. ARRC 2.0 is a reinvented and updated version of the arcc installation, created by Dreamlaser Studio in collaboration with curator Ksyusha Chekhovskaya and musician Anny Ly in 2019, and has since been exhibited in many locations.

The four areas have different designs and meanings: goal, reaction, reflection, chaos. These areas give people different senses.

In the four different areas, the same lighting control system, 1-10V 4-gang dimmer, is used to control the four different areas with four separate signals.

"I am the sun" interactive light installation

In July 2022, VOLNA implemented its first educational arts project at the TUMO Creative Technology Center in Yerevan, Armenia. Over the course of a month, the VOLNA team worked with 20 students to create a piece of art in the public space.

This artwork is an interactive light installation installed at the bus stop in front of the main building of the TUMO School in Yerevan. When viewing the installation from a distance, viewers see their reflection on the mirror surface, but when the viewer gets closer to the installation, unexpected flashes of light appear, evoking an emotional response.

The unit consists of 72 light modules that are activated with the help of sensors. At night, in addition to its main function, it displays an animation illuminating the bus stop. The project's name also implies that it is powered by solar panels, which create its own light as a sustainable energy source.

The piece aims to awaken viewers from their inner world and inspire new insights into themselves and their surroundings. By sensing their connection to nature, they recognize that they are part of nature, just as the sun illuminates everything around them.

Sisyphus

Sisyphus is an art installation designed and produced by Kachi Chan. The two robots interact in an endless loop. Smaller robots build brick arches, while giant robots push them down. This robotic system drives the narrative of construction and deconstruction.

The piece is named after a figure in Greek mythology who pushed a boulder up a mountain every day and watched it roll down.

Despite the difference in size between the two robots, their struggle is endless. The giant robot made no concessions and continued to crush the brick arch. However, even once destroyed, the small robots continue to build new brick arches, thereby exhibiting a sense of resistance through individual autonomous behavior.
